Who we are
BVL (bevel) ("BVL", "we") builds small software tools for backend and data engineers. You can reach us at support@bvl.dev. This address receives email only; we do not promise a response time.
Scope
These terms cover this website and the BVL product pages and waitlists, including Stalewatch and Migration Guard. Both products are in early access. Neither is available to buy yet, and these terms may be updated with additional product terms when a product becomes available to buy.
Waitlists
Joining a waitlist is free and does not commit you to anything. We do not promise a launch date or that any product will launch. What we store and why is described in the Privacy page.
Prices and payment
Prices shown on our pages are planned prices: Stalewatch $29 per month and Migration Guard $19 per repository per month. They may change before a product becomes available to buy. When pre-orders or subscriptions are offered, payment is taken by Stripe, and the price shown at checkout applies.

Acceptable use
Do not misuse our sites or products: do not attempt to break or overload them, access them without permission, or use them for anything illegal.
No warranty and liability
Websites and early-access products are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. If you have paid for a product, material changes will not reduce the refund and cancellation rights described on our Refunds and Cancellation pages for that purchase.
